Exposing Tim Walz: From CCP Connections to Baseless Attacks on President Trump

We Are Americans November 30, 2025

In a recent CNN interview that has drawn sharp criticism, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz unleashed a barrage of unfounded attacks on President Donald Trump, revealing not just partisan bitterness but a deeper pattern of questionable loyalties. Walz, who served as Kamala Harris’s running mate in the disastrous 2024 Democratic ticket, used the platform to demonize the president, labeling his policies as “cruel” and accusing him of stoking division. Speaking from his post-election perch, Walz decried Trump’s immigration stance as a “refugee burden” causing “social dysfunction,” conveniently ignoring the chaos of open borders under Biden-Harris that flooded American communities with unchecked migration.

This isn’t mere rhetoric; it’s a distraction tactic from Walz’s own skeletons. The governor’s interview glossed over his extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a relationship that has raised alarms among national security experts. Walz has visited China approximately 30 times, often on programs subsidized by the regime itself. As a young teacher in 1989, he led student trips funded in part by Beijing, just months after the Tiananmen Square massacre. Critics argue this early affinity laid the groundwork for deeper entanglements. During his tenure as governor, Minnesota hosted CCP-front organizations like Confucius Institutes at state universities, vehicles for Beijing’s propaganda and intellectual theft. Walz even appointed officials with apparent CCP links to key positions, including ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology—ground zero for COVID-19 origins.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer launched a probe in 2024 into these connections, citing Walz’s vulnerability to “elite capture,” the CCP’s strategy of co-opting influential Americans. The FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force has flagged similar operations, yet Walz’s camp dismisses it as “twisted facts.” His defenders claim he’s a critic of Beijing, but actions speak louder: Walz praised China’s “kind, generous” people in a 1993 interview, downplaying the regime’s brutality, and promoted economic deals that funneled American jobs overseas.

This hypocrisy is amplified by the Democratic Party’s blind support for Joe Biden, whose cognitive decline was an open secret in 2024. Biden’s campaign crumbled after a June debate where he rambled incoherently, freezing mid-sentence and confusing world leaders. Videos from the year capture him stumbling over words at a Wisconsin brewery, mixing up policies in Las Vegas speeches, and trailing off into nonsense about sharks and electrocution. Despite mounting evidence—gaffes weekly, reliance on teleprompters, aides whispering directions—Democrats propped him up, gaslighting voters until his abrupt July withdrawal. Walz, as Harris’s ally, was complicit in this charade, prioritizing party loyalty over national readiness.

Walz’s CNN tirade isn’t leadership; it’s a desperate pivot from his CCP shadows and the Democrats’ Biden fiasco. As America rebounds under Trump, figures like Walz remind us why vigilance against foreign influence and domestic delusion is essential. The 2024 election exposed these fractures—now, it’s time to seal them.
