Critics are furious, pointing to Omar’s past campaign funneling nearly $3 million to Mynett’s political consulting firm, E Street Group – payments that accounted for 80% of its revenue during the 2020 cycle and conveniently ramped up amid their controversial romance. Omar cut ties with the firm after scrutiny, but now Mynett’s new ventures, including Rose Lake Capital, have skyrocketed in reported value, fueling accusations of self-enrichment at taxpayer expense.
