WASHINGTON — The European Union did not conquer the West with tanks. It conquered it with paper: a Pact on Migration and Asylum that went live in June 2026, commissions that treat borders as a moral defect, and a governing class that calls the Christian settlement of Europe an embarrassment. Churches empty. Courts fill. Streets that once assumed one law now argue over which law. That is not “diversity.” That is a replacement of founding order — the habit of limited government, conscience, and a citizen who answers to God and a Constitution, not a directorate in Brussels.
Call the incoming order what it is when it refuses the old compact: tribal courts in the alley, honor codes over equal protection, and political movements that despise the Cross and the Bill of Rights in the same breath. A republic can welcome a soul who wants the American creed. It cannot survive a payroll that treats that creed as the problem.
American politicians now speak the same language. They sit on a Congressional Caucus on Global Migration built to “advance regional and global collaboration.” They join the Democratic Socialists of America and call production, speech, and borders items for the committee. They are not all on one foreign wire. They do not have to be. Shared doctrine is cheaper than a bribe.
