The 2024 election victory of Donald Trump has exposed what millions already knew: ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC no longer practice journalism; they manufacture consent for the Democratic Party. Once respected as the “big three” broadcast networks, ABC, NBC, and CBS have completed their transformation into partisan activists wearing press badges.
The evidence is overwhelming. In the weeks following Trump’s landslide, these networks uniformly framed lawful executive actions—border enforcement, agency downsizing, and schedule-F reforms—as “authoritarian power grabs” while giving sympathetic airtime to outgoing bureaucrats who openly defied the elected president. ABC’s “This Week” ran a segment titled “Is Democracy Dying?” featuring only anti-Trump panelists. NBC Nightly News repeatedly called legal deportations “mass kidnappings.” CBS Evening News described the firing of partisan inspectors general as “purging the government of oversight.”
This isn’t new. From 2016 to 2024, the same outlets spent years promoting the now-debunked Russia-collusion hoax, burying the Hunter Biden laptop story (later authenticated), and labeling parents at school-board meetings “domestic terrorists.” Internal WhatsApp leaks from CBS staff and ABC producers—revealed in 2024—show editorial decisions explicitly coordinated with Democratic operatives to “stop Trump at all costs.” In November 2025, three former CBS producers went public, admitting stories were spiked or slanted to protect Biden, prompting on-air denunciations rather than introspection from the networks.
Trust has cratered. Gallup’s latest 2025 survey shows only 28% of Americans trust network news, with ABC, NBC, and CBS all scoring below 30% confidence among independents. A stunning 71% of respondents now believe the legacy networks “regularly lie to help Democrats.” Media Research Center analysis highlights the networks’ trust collapse, with evening newscasts at historic lows.
The fourth estate is dead. What remains are well-funded propaganda organs that collude with one political party while masquerading as neutral arbiters. The American people have moved on—viewership of ABC, NBC, and CBS evening newscasts has fallen below Great Depression levels. The only question left: when will the last shred of credibility finally flush?
